New Feeshing Spots along the Coast

Customers visiting the Fairest Cape and Kwa-Zulu-Natal, now have the Choice of Dining on their favourite seafood in two new venues. The ever popular Pavilion Shopping Centre, in Westville Durban, now boasts its very own new Ocean Basket, as does the newly renovated Cape Town International Airport’s Terminal 2010.

The Grove, Pretoria’s Hot New Feeshing Spot

Ocean Baskets celebrates the opening of its 121st seafood restaurant. The Grove, Ocean Basket opened its doors, in the East of Pretoria. The Grove Shopping Centre is located at the Corner of Lynwood & Simon Vermotten Road. The store will be open daily from 11:30 am till late and booking is not required.

Cyprus has just got a little more sole

Ocean Basket, South Africa’s seafood sensation is taking the island of Cyprus by storm with the opening of its second store in Limassol, at My Mall. According to the CEO of Ocean Basket Cyprus, Basil Billis, “The Brand has excelled on the Island, and been well accepted by locals and Tourists alike. Our success in Paphos has been largely attributable to the hard working locals, the Brands fantastic offering to the consumer”

Expansion plans for the Brand on the island are looking positive, with a third store planned to roll out in the next 12 months. Billis, a long time Franchisee of the Brand in South Africa, took the opportunity to establish the Brand in Cyprus on his family’s immigration from South Africa a little over 18 months ago.

Midstream’s Best Feeshing Spot Discovered!

South Africa’s favourite seafood destination, Ocean Basket, is opening its doors in the Grey Owl Village, this October. The Brand, a firm Favourite having notched up in excess of 15 Consumer awards for the best seafood countrywide, will now be on the doorstep of residents in the Eastern Centurion area.

The Store can be found at Shop number 42, Grey Owl Village, Loluwlardia – extension 10, which is just behind the Centurion Yamaha.

A Decade of Da Best and more

This week the Ocean Basket had a double celebration with its first place in Best Seafood, for the tenth consecutive year in the Leisure Options Best of J’oburg Awards. The Brand was also awarded the Sunday Times, Sowetan and the Times Top Brands Award for Best Family Seafood Restaurant as well as being placed third in the overall family restaurant category. Many thanks to our customers and staff for helping the Brand achieve this.
